Gaps Solitaire Tutorial

When you play Gaps Solitaire, you begin with 4 rows of 13 cards. The Aces have been removed to create gaps in the sequence, and the 2s have all been moved to the far left. Your goal is to put the cards in sequence from 2 - King by suit. You do this by moving cards into the gaps to shift them around. You can move a card to a gap if it is one less than the card to the right of the gap and of the same suit. You can also move a card to the gap if it is one more than the card to the left of the gap, and of the same suit. To move a card, click the card you would like to move, followed by the gap you would like to move it it.

After you have built up a series of cards starting with the 2s on the left of the game screen, the cards in the series will appear highlighted. If you get stuck, you can click the "Shuffle" button in the bottom left of the game screen, above the "New Game" button. When you click this button, the cards that are not highlighted will be shuffled, which will help you continue in the game
